Bridge Books and the Bridge Book Series (A & B) were designed by Dr. Dee Gardner, a university professor and literacy expert, and Gloria Nance, a district reading specialist and experienced elementary school teacher. The 50 books were designed to assist language learners in their development of literacy and other essential skills in a second or foreign language. Bridge Books also contain specific instructional aids for teachers, tutors, and parents.
